autumn in taskent! l'automne a taskent!

today friday 19th of october 2007, autumn is really arrived in taskent!
aujourd'hui vendredi 19 octobre 2007, l'automne est bien là à taskent!

I had my Chinese visa today and I was lucky: I obtained 60 days instead of the usual 30!
thus i will not have to make an extension i think.
on the other hand the khirgiz embassy is closed this morning, I will have to wait 2.30pm but I should be able to have my visa today nevertheless.
j'ai eu mon visa chinois aujourd'hui et j'ai eu de la chance: j'ai obtenu 60 jours au lieu des 30 habituels! je n'aurai donc sans doute pas à faire d'extension.
par contre l'ambassade khirgize est fermée ce matin, je vais devoir attendre 14h30 mais je devrais pouvoir avoir mon visa aujourd'hui quand même.

and it began to rain at 9.30am and I am far from my hotel...
I found refuge in a cyber coffee but that worries me a little: I have Salomon goretex xcr shoes but however they take water... I had bought them in the best store of Geneva!
anyway it should be fine: I have all the goretex equipment and if weather is not getting better I will pass to China by bus or i'll hitchhike...
nevertheless that annoys me a little not to do everything with my bicycle, but that is better than not to pass to China or to die frozen in the khirghiz mountains!
en plus il s'est mis à pleuvoir vers 9h30 et je suis loin de mon hôtel...
j'ai trouve refuge dans un cyber café mais ça m'inquiète quand même un peu: j'ai des chaussures salomon goretex xcr mais en fait elles prennent l'eau... pourtant je les avais achetées dans le meilleur magasin de genève!
ça devrait quand même aller, j'ai tout l'équipement goretex sinon (du vrai) et si le temps ne s'arrange pas je passerai en chine en bus ou en stop...
ça m'embête quand même un peu de ne pas tout faire à vélo, mais vaut mieux ça que de ne pas passer en chine ou de mourir congelé dans les montagnes khirghizes!

in my hotel I discussed with a Japanese backpacker and if I arrive in Bangkok I am thinking going to Australia with a working-holiday visa to make a little money and spend the boreal winter (there it will be the end of the southern summer!)
à mon hôtel j'ai discuté avec un backpacker japonais et si j'arrive à bangkok je pense aller en australie avec un visa vacances-travail pour me faire un peu d'argent et passer l'hiver boréal (là bas ça sera la fin de l'été austral!)

in taskent all is well, or rather all goes for best!
